I'm just wondering, I've been on the topic of time travel lately, and I'm just wondering what would happen if you went through time in your lucid dream, say like, five seconds before, so you could tackle yourself or something. I wonder what would happen.
That would be interesting. My guess is that your subconscious wouldn't be able to handle the consequences of changing your linear timeline like that, even in a dream and doing such will overheat your brain trying to grasp the concept of your future, resulting in either a coma or death. Don't mess with hypothetical concepts in a dream, because then your subconscious has to try and make sense of it all. It nearly happened to me when I tried to see the end of the world.
Nah, just kidding. I don't know what would happen... so just try it!
Hahahahaha, nice. I'm gonna try it the next time I have a lucid dream probably, not until the end though, in case something happens and causes me to wake up.

I have, it's usually the second thing I come to think of after flying. It's been a while now though...the last time I went back to the...90's. Lol.
My next goal when I have a longer lucid dream will be to imagine myself walking into the scene in Back to the future 1 where Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd is rigging up the time machine for the first time. I'm going to convince them to lend it to me!Quote:

I'm mainly thinking about going back in time five seconds so I can tackle myself, so I can observe the effect on my lucid dream. I wonder what my mind would do.
