Does working out before bed affect having lucid dreams?

I don't think working out before going to sleep affects your lucids, except for the fact that you might fall asleep faster. (just an opinion)

Actually it is not recommended that you exercise before bed. Exercise gets increases your heart rate, creates chemicals in the brain that are not conducive to rest. So your body is "pumped up".
But this effect can still help.
Exercise leads to good restful sleep. Just not directly before sleep. It takes a bit for your system to slow down. But when it does you are justifiably tired.
Countless other good attributes to exercise too. So far as we are concerned though (lucid dreaming) it helps the entire body function better, which a result is better brain functioning, which is relevant to any cognitive learning. Or techniques that you would be trying for LDs.
