      blood and gore

I suffer from depression and have noticed that in rough periods I have very grusome dreams. Sometimes It's not me creating the gore in the dreams, just witnessing it. Anyone ever experience twisted sick dreams that are even embarrassing to descibe.

I dreamed I was undressing my own dead body once. Not a pleasant experience...

I used to have these frequently...
They're often very difficult to control, if at all, and seem more like an uncontrollable flow of the subconscious. I know that I'm dreaming, but it's as if someone has turned on a 3-D movie inside my head with all kinds of mayhem and indescribable horror.

I have them less now, but every once in a while they occur -especially if I am dealing with anxiety or guilt (which I think, is often associated with depression). After these, I am often compelled to pray and meditate (on scripture, or soothing worship music...).

yeah i get the occasional 'fucked' dream. i think it's a good twist to some of the boring stuff i have. it's good to know that you can wake yourself up when you want if it gets too disturbing.

The strangest dream i've had up to date was about scanning peoples brains, and then the machine printed out an image from the brain. Scanned some people, and then after a few it was possible to scan dead people.
And they scanned the some kinda pope guy, and it was the inside of a church looking up, but then all weird and high contrast etc. We then went to that church and from there got the corpse of Mary, and scanned her mummyfied brain, and printed out a black-and white picture (x-ray looking) of a horribly deformed and messed up baby...

It'll happen sometimes. A lot of us experience it. I once had a dream where I was part of a news crew sort of deal in this old, dark, decrepid building. We were filming all of these dead cats. There were peices of cats, as well as maggots lying around too. The really bad part is, some of the parts were still alive and meowing and everything.
I like cats, so I don't know where that came from.

My cousin once told me about a dream she had where she was helping to birth a baby in the middle of a field, but the mother who was supposed to be giving birth was dead. She was impaled on one of those wooden posts. She had the dead look and everything, with the clouded eyes, blueish skin and livivdity and all that. She somehow birthed the baby and then she put it in the dead woman's arms.

Spooky. I had a sickly feeling when she told me.
The best times of your life should not be when you're still so young, or else you'll live a life always dreaming of the past.

I've posted here about my dreams where I am killing masses of people trying to justify it.

Its kind of disturbing. Its happened a few times with me.
