I bet this is going to mean a lot of lucids for you!
yea i hear its good even to read others dreams in there dream journals to help spark ur recall. ive read all of em posted in the forums.
I wish they had something like this at our school. The only interesting thing we have is construction workers. Cause our school is stinkin old and falling apart and now they're attempting to renovate it.
Anywho, good luck with your classes!
There's a thought. I can just have them staple blank colored pieces of paper over "sensitive" (lawl) dreams to inform me that I should not read it. But I think that reading our dreams out loud (I plan to learn with them, montessori styllin it up, yo) to one another/the entire class (looks to be about 8 people at this point) will be moi helpful.
haha. alright. three kids showed up today. Whatever. We're on it. I showed them that clip from waking life where they talk about lucid dreaming. We talked about dream journals, I told them all the basics. Told them about my dreams. The boy has regular LDs, but he's a little hard to take seriously. It was pretty fun though.
That is awsome man, a really great idea, iv told nearily all my friends, a few bites, no commitment :-/ I havnt really talked to anyone about it in months now. Im by far not afraid to be differenent, but i myself am i follower of the "croud" example -abercrombie cloths, bla bla bla" thats me the preppy kid lol. But its good be seen as a little weird or different in the eyes of peers i think, at least you will be remembered. Anyway, i think im going to start trying to rekindle the fire in some friends also, great idea, do you go to a public school? You can start a class with peers? (what Grade are you in?)
or maybe Sprout, you could hand out designate course dream journal specifically for class room readings, and instruct the students to keep a personal journal too. Inform them should they feel the need to read from there personal this is cool too. This way, there is no pressure. I would think, at their age ( being that 15 is the required age limit for this site) they would be able to decided which dreams to put in their class journals and which to put in private....sexual dreams...verses flying dreams...ah no brainer I hope, but then again, who knows today! Just have a blast! Keep rocking on! :goodjob: This is just a thought!Quote:
Em great idea but are you going to read their dream journals??? Wouldn't that be invading their privacy? what if they don't want you to read them? Or like if they have... sexual dreams...hehe.[/b]
oh and..
I have a question has anyone ever thought of doing an internet course such as with a web cam and all. Okay, I am not suave or anything, hip cool with the internet computer lingo, so bare with me. So I hope you guys can get my meaning. But a class, by which a group can met on the cam and like swap verbiage and all. Learn from a master maybe. Do journals and so on.
That is a awsome idea
Thats a cool idea Bella. Might be hard though to do it via webcam due to how many people would likely join over the net. Might be better in a private chat room or a IRC channel or something. Some boundaries would be time zones and stuff too. But its a good idea that could work if integrated.
Sprout! Just talked to my school. All I need is a teacher supervisor and they'll likely let me do it :) So then we can do that joint thing I talked to you about :D Scoreness. How'd your 3 person class go anyway? :P
I do this at my school but it's not a class. I teach those who ask, which these days is quite a few.
whyd this forum die. it was interesting. hows the class?
i do agree, i posted about a month back and got almost an instant reply but now it could take a day to get even one reply
He's established a 24/7 class, so he doesn't have time for DreamViews anymore. Right now, he's living with 5 of his students, on an island in the middle of the Atlantic.
Close. :P I actually just sent them on their way. Only one girl was really into it, we did a lot of nothing in that class... But! The girl who was into it had her first lucid right before the term ended. Way cool, I was in it. I on the other hand, haven't been doing so great. ^^; I'm trying to reaffirm my desire, it became a chore for a little while, sort of glad it's over (the class). A couple of the students are actually on DV now... somewhere... Trying to find them.
It was really cool for a little while, but, I mean... What can you do when you're awake? :P
