I think I may have figured out a way for people to get the word out on luciddreaming in school.

When science fair rolls around, make a project about "ataining conciousness in dreams". This way you can spread the word on lucidity without being considered a "social outcast". I realize the purpose of science fair is for you to learn about a topic astrange to you, but who's going to know you already can lucid dream? Besides, you may learn a new technique. Be sure to put some websites like Dreamviews as a reference, or possibly Stephen LaBerge's 'Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming'

I am sorry if this is in the wrong section (couldn't relly tell where it should go) so if it should be moved, then please do so.

      Great Idea.
We are always looking for ways to spread the concept.

      Tell us how it goes!

Because I don't see us going any farther in regards to any research and more people will likely read this in General Lucid discussion. I will move it.

If you feel that you would like to make nay type of research effort please let me know.

Yeah in my senior year we have to write this like 20 page essay, and I'm probably doing mine on lucid dreaming. Only like 5 people see that though, so it won't really spread the word at all.
Reality? Where? Did I miss it?

That's a good idea. Though we talked about lucid dreaming in psych. last year, and everyone seemed to think it was really cool.

When I was in grade school I did a science project... how food affects dreams. It was hardly scientific, but I added a "concious dreaming" section. Using all these "voodoo" sounding terms like lucid dreaming can throw people off. Make sure it is scientific and everything.

I'm in high school now, and one of the english teachers likes lucid dreaming. He actually showed "waking life" to his class (my brother was in the class... he was the only one who didn't like the movie ) and I remember this girl later talking about how she had an amazing lucid dreaming experience soon. I hope I have him as a teacher soon!

      Well... hmm...
purpose: to see if it possible to gain conciousness during a dream
      gather data: search "lucid dreaming"
hypthosis: I believe one can gain conciosness during a dream
      test: have a lucid
      ... I forgot the next 2 steps...
      conclusion: one can conciously drem

Oops! did I just give away nearly the entire project? hehe
