hello guys, you may call me jakal here

ive just come to realise, that my form of dreaming isnt entirely what i thought, you see ive been experiencing what you call lucid dreams, as far back as i can remember, i dont have to "become lucid" i just am, always i have never had a non-lucid dream i can remember (mind you, my dream recall isnt exactly the greatest) suffice it to say, i just found out, that this isnt natural in a dream, and a lot of things have become clearer, i was under the impression everybody did it

ive read a few tales, and it seems however my dreams become a great deal more intense, and havea great deal more control of them then whats beeing reported

anyhting i want i can do, with very very few exceptions

some examples of what i have done
-extinguished the sun, with my hands
-fought with the romans at thermopolae
-met and interacted with a great many aliens, all of whom i had no control over

this is strange for me, i have control of every aspect of my dream, what people say, even what people think

there are however a few things that cant be controlled
-occasionally (very very rarely) i come across what i believe to be another LD'er i have no control of them, or any of there aspects, and aspects of my world, albeit small ones change without my wanting it to do so
i cant control things that are beyond what i have created (such as alien species)

another thing i cant control are the known dead, i will explain with a breif description of a purposely reoccuring dream:

this dream starts once a year, every year, near x-mas time, i control every aspect but one, should it have been a "normal dream" i dont think id be scared, but because its lucid it can be horrifying, and uplifting.
im at my grandmother old house(i take myself there once year) the family is there, and each year, i make them look one year older(kind of like ms paint, except i freeze time, and draw right on them with my "reality marker" that aside, my grandmother is there, i know shes dead but for some reason, shes the only deceased person i can ever get to materialize, and she talks to me, but the strange thing, (for me anyway) is she talks to me, just like she would, and i cant control where the conversation goes ever she gives me advice and insight, and while i have control of everything else, it scares me, because im not used to not beeing able to control it, i think it may be her

also sometimes i find myself in worlds that arent mine, but i can still control to some extent, i think it may be another LDers world

nonetheless, ive come here, to challenge myself, its when i get bored, that my dreams take on a nasty aspect ( what else do u do when ur bored and omnipotent? kick ass)

so somebody, please offer me a challenge,

      jakal

There's a thread around here somewhere that has a list of things to do in LDs so you'll never get bored. I don't feel like looking for it though.

Welcome anyway. Your abilities are basically what we all hope to achieve someday.

Did you look through everything in that list? There's hundreds of ideas in there.
You could also do the Lucid Tasks each month. The advanced tasks are usually pretty difficult.

Wow, your at the level I want to be at "extinguished the sun, with my hands"

      That is too cool.

So you don't remember how it started really? It has always been that way?

      Man......your lucky.

I've never heard of someone like you. I mean there are plenty of people who have lucid dreams naturally, but I've never heard of someone who only has them. That has to be pretty rare. You're pretty lucky.
Reality? Where? Did I miss it?

ive wanted a normal dream for some time now, ive even tried convincing myself i wasnt dreaming. I read the task of the month this month and even the advanced one, seems simple enough, if i remember my dream tomorrow, i will post

are there any really experienced people in here? i want to try to have a mutual lucid dream, and know who the other is

      Hi Jakal..

So you're bored with your level of LD and need fresh input?

I would suggest that you read accounts of LD systems and techniques other than those propounded here.

A good start would be "A Separate Reality" and "The Art of Dreaming" by Carlos Castaneda.

It would be interesting to see how you get on with the techniques of the latter book. Then we'd see how good you are.

It's a really well-known book. Most major book stores will stock it with the rest of their Castaneda.
