Are out of body experiences the same as Lucid dreams???
Environmentally, Lucid dreams and OBEs are different. The things witnessed by persons having OBEs are either in the external (physical) world or spirit world, and those things have a sense of permanence. By contrast, the things witnessed by lucid dreamers are in the dream world, and do not seem to be permanent.Quote:

OBE experiences may be peak conscious/control experiences in non-sleep or in half-sleep/partial sleep (e.g. hypnogogic stage).
