Woot. It was only about 10 minutes and wasn't incredibly exciting, but I don't care. I finally had my first Lucid (that I can remember) and I can now build off that :D
The dream itself is sketchy. I remember some event led up to standing outside my room (which for some reason I didn't know was my real room, or that I was actually in my own house) and talking to a person about a curse upon the room. I went to sleep and remember looking around the room and thinking to myself "Wouldnt it be cool if I was dreaming?" a second or 2 later I jolt up and say to myself outloud "Holy Shit I am Dreaming!"
Immediatly I was excited. Then I remembered that if I got too excited I'd wake up. So I calmed myself and took in my surroundings. I remembered stabalizing the dream, so I looked at my hands. Im always hearing people's hands are messed up or weird, mine we're fine and normal :)
I got out of bed and walked out of my room. It looked just like my house normally would, but I think there were some extra plants or something. Only slight differences. It was 3:00am, and I went up stairs and saw my dad in the kitchen. Then I tested the laws of Gravity, and jumped straight up. Jumping a good 10 feet. My dad looked surprised.
Then I remembered I had school, and woke up. :(
So it wasn't major awesome, but now I have something to build off of. Yay! :content:

Weird thing is, I don't even know what clicked me into the fact that I was dreaming. I just thought "Wouldn't it be cool if I was Dreaming?" and then a few seconds later it hit me that I was. Maybe it was thinking of the whole curse and events that had happened through out, but I dunno. What I found cool was that I could notice smaller details from farther away. For example from my bed I saw that the ESC key on my computer was labeled "Lucid Dreaming" and that another key was labeled "Dream Views" :bigteeth:

reminds me of my "first" ld to. Something just didn't seem right in the dream and then hay-presto, I'm lucid
albeat a very love level state and quality :(
