When you have a lucid dream, do you just remember the dream? Or do you remember actually being there? Man this is a really weird question... maybe someone here will understand and put it in better words
Also, how fast does time go by in lucid dreams?

uh....didn't really get that first question....and I can't tell because I didn't have a complete lucid dream yet....
The second question is actually debated in one forum....can't remember which one but it's really interesting....

I know what you mean. Is it "real-time" versus you wake up and remember the dream. It certainly is real-time. It's like real life... you are conscious of each moment and can choose to do different things whenever you want. You are actually IN the dream as it is happening, you don't just remember being in the dream. While in the dream, you are "actually there." You make decisions in the dream and are in it as it is happening. So yeah, it's great. However the less lucid dreams you aren't AS MUCH in the dream as it is happening.
And secondly, it varies. While in the dream, obviously the time is "normal." However, it can have lasted a really short amount of time (2 minutes) in real life and felt a lot longer, or it could have been a long time in real life and not be too long of a lucid dream.

When you have a lucid dream you remember the dream the same way as a normal dream. At least that's how it is with me, and I haven't heard anyone saying something different about it. I assume you have remembered a normal dream at least once. Well that's the way you remember a lucid dream too. I don't know any reason why it would be different.
If you remember a thing that happened in waking life how do you remember it then? For me remembering dreams and remembering waking life events are the same. So that's how I remember it, I hope that answered your question.
Sometimes you don't remember a dream in a whole, if you know what I mean. Like there are little parts in it that you don't remember. You can compare it to a movie; there are movies who cover 2 years, but they don't show everything from those two years, they make a movie from 2 hours. The same is with (lucid) dreams; sometimes you don't remember everything and therefore it can feel like a lot longer than it really is.
