Yahoo Groups are tough to follow if you read them there on Yahoo.
Generally "Groups" tend to be either groups of users that organise a gallery of images or mailing groups.
Now the latter are the most common, ranging from simple newsletters to RPGs. In the options for each group's membership every member can select whether to read the group on his/her own or have it arrive via e-mail. This, of course, is the most common use (unless you just want to read random posts whenever you have time and don't want your inbox cluttered).
So change the preferences and have fun. All the posts in chronological order with the topics in the subject header will arrive in your inbox.
So is it pretty much the same as the lucid tasks part of the forum?

You can set it to anything you like. Each post as a separate e-mail, a daily digest of posts in one e-mail or even a weekly digest, if I recall.
So it's all a matter of preference and the needs of any given member.
If you join but can't do your task, then you should unjoin so I can assign it to someone else who can do it.
Anyway, all this irrelevant talk about Yahoo Groups aside, it's simply about dreaming tasks.
