Exploring the world of lucid dreaming... so much to learn

I recently got EWLD from my uncle and I'm now at chapter 4. THeres so much to learn so much to do its hard to keep up with it all. I'm not sure how I should orginize my state check list and how to increase my recall more (6 hours of sleep leaves me with puny dreams) Before I move on could you all help decipher all of this so I know what exactly I should do to get the best possible lucid occurance?

ps. I tried MILD yesterday, woke up after 4 dream periods but failed every time, couldent remember my dream upon awakaning like I normally could and I went to sleep fealing to "out of the mood"; caused by how uncomfortable I was no doubt (all my covers were off the bed from the night)

Anyone care to explain exactly what they do to follow EWLD and get the most Lucids?

There is a TON of info in that book. It goes from just beginning to learn the concept of lucid dreaming to using lucid dreams for self-discovery. Just take it one step of a time. Try not to take in all the info @ once because it's better to learn one step @ a time. Make sure your dream recall is good before you start with the induction methods.
