Thread: I am curious, do any of you ever feel heat in dreams?

i've felt it. it can get intense. i've never felt wind though...

Ahh the warmth of the sun, such a wonderful thing, it warms not only the body but the spirit as well.

I feel warmth or cold in my experience =D

never felt wind or heat in normal dreams, but when i went lucid a week or so back I felt the warmth of the sun it was quite nice. I also think I may have felt a breeze as I jumped up and down trying to fly, but that could be my brain implanting false memories on the basis of this thread

Don't you ever fly in LD's? If so, can't you feel the wind when flying? That is what I like the most about this experience....

About the heat, I do remember sometimes being really hot in a dream, but latetly I cannot recall any dream where I have felt heat or cold. But that is probably cause I am not concentrating on these feelings...

The only time I remember feeling heat in my dream was when I dropped a "dream joint" on my lap It felt really hot.

I've had the feeling of an insubstantial wolf biting through my arm. The breath was warm and my bones felt numbingly cold

I don't feel heat in dreams. Ditto, neither do I feel small pressures such as wind - when I fly in dreams it is as though I am 'noclipping' in a computer game. I too have had a monster bite my arm - but I felt only impact and no pain or heat.

I often feel heat and cold in LDs. If I feel too hot, I concentrate to do the opposite, kinda like a cooling sensation that is very relieving. Too much of either extreme seems to lessen my awareness. Sometimes temperature is hard to control, and I end up going back and forth trying to find the correct balance. I've also walked/flown into intense fire and into stars and felt burning pain at first, then a release -sort of like being refined or smelted like silver or gold.

I often feel pressures -like swimming in liquids/currents or flying in windstorms. The strangest sensation (and most unpleasant to date) is when I am exposed to some sort of strange radiation that feels like I'm being showered with microwaves or some sort of unnatural or nuclear radiation. The only way to alleviate this discomfort has been by waking myself up.

Well, I guess I was not paying attention to it. This morning I did feel heat in a dream.

Once in a dream (it was the most realistic dream I ever had), I was lying in my bed, when some alien bugs, about the size of ants, started flying in through my window and eating me alive. I felt my body burning like it was on fire.

This is something i was wondering. I have felt wind, but never been hot or cold.

I don't know.
I'll try to pay attention to that in the future.

I've always been able to feel heat and wind and all that. I guess I just figured everyone could.

Hmm...I don't think so, but when I fly I feel the wind.

I've been near some pretty fiercely burning buildings in my dreams and I could distinctly feel the heat.

I've been burned by little spatters of lava in a dream before as well - it was damn sore.

for me, different dreams bring different feelings. sometimes i feel pain, but other times i get shot several times but feel nothing. sometimes i feel heat and actually wake up sweating. sometimes i cant taste and the list goes on. it seems like i am always missing at least one sense or ability in all my lucid dreams.

I feel heat and cold. Just this morning I was enjoying the warmth of the sun while flying in a lucid.

Check the Task Of The Month a couple months back - one of the tasks was to walk through fire. It ended up being an amazingly challenging task because people were actually feeling pain from the heat.

I've felt warmth. 2 days ago actually.
