so this is my technique:
i eat 2 bannanas, go to bed, and set the alarm for 5:30, stay still and try to fall back asleep. simple, huh?
QUESTIONS
1) should i set the clock earlier than 5:30 (which is exactly 2 hours from when i wake up)?
2) when i go back to bec and stay completly still, will it ruin it if i move to turn the clock off?

Okay here's what I'd change. But this is just what helps for me.
1. If you take a multivitamin or any sort of LDing suppliment, take it when you eat your banana at night instead of in the morning.
2. I don't know how much sleep you get, but if I were you I'd set the alarm for an hour or an hour and a half before instead of two hours. When I wake up from an LD right after I have it, it's usually a half hour or 45 minutes from when I went to sleep. So an hour should be safe.
As for moving, I dont think it matters. It doesn't break concentration or anything. Just do what you have to do and get it over with.
This is jujst what works for me though, you can try it if you want.
