I don't watch TV, but have caught that ad (for I'm not sure what - a drug, probably) a couple times and thought it interesting. There used to be a thread around here somewhere for dream-influenced stuff in RL... that one would fit right in.

I think my dreams are happier when they are running the show, though I'm happier when I am. They do their best to avoid me wresting control - that much seems obvious.

I'm working on it. I'm really not such a bad person to let into the driver's seat occasionally.

It's a mixed relationship. =/

Sometimes they are like "Heeeeeey, what's up, man? Welcome back. Things are great here. Would you like control, or do you wanna just sit back and enjoy the show? Just let us know, and it's all good."

...Other times they are like "Alright, bitch-boy, sit down, and shut up. We're running things here, see? And right about now we'd just like to see how much we can make you squirm! MWwAUAhaAhahaaH!!"

(Haha. I love those commercials, though.)

Anyway, the closest I can get to answering the question, is that when lucid I feel like I've come home - i.e. very comfortable - most of the time!

I think my dreams like to mess with my head, some times they like me and others they try to hunt me down and kill me.

I'm going to say mine aren't too fond of me usually. There's almost always some annoying obstical to overcome. If they welcomed me wouldn't my LD's progress in an easy manner?

My LDs are usually as I want them to be. But sometimes things go wrong, due to negative thoughts I have at that point.

I have once been attacked by false awakenings in an LD, though. But once false awakenings actually caused me to become lucid from a non-lucid state.

I love those ads with Abe Lincoln and the Beaver, everyone one of them, because of they are so true of what dreams are really like, totally crazy, and yet we accept them as normal everyday life, from the Beaver sitting there eating bacon and eggs, to Abe Lincoln trying to make field goals with his folded paper footballs and the Beaver telling him to grow up, to the one where the guy is having a hard time sleeping, and goes to work in his dream where his boss is also having a difficult time sleeping and enters her office pulling a jackass behind her.

Not sure if my dreams miss me, but I sure miss them when they are not as frequent as I would like them to be as they have become a source of great adventure to me.

Funny thing, I was just thinking about those ads on my way home from work today and how much I enjoy them.

Funny, some days (or rather, nights) ago I was dreamin' I was in a concert and the lead singer was a beaver

Well anyhow, the following would probably describe the situations I often find myself in:

Neutral/average nights:

Me: hey.
Dream: sup.
Me: *browses around exploring stuff*

Good nights:

Me: *causes some mischief*
Dream: want fries with that? *hands a <insert random weapon name here>*

Bad nights:

Me *glares at the good looking woman across the street with a hint of lust in his eyes*
Dream: &#33;?&#33;?&#33;?&#33; *ends*
Me: NOOOOOOOOO *wakes up*
Me: I wasn&#39;t going to do that. No, I mean, really. (this usually continues until next LD)


Well well, I suppose I can&#39;t really say wether my LD&#39;s love me or hate me, all I do in them is mostly to browse around and talk to DC&#39;s when applicable, so my bet is that they don&#39;t quite mind me being around
