What does this meen??

Well,Hello.
Do any of you Know what this dream meens?
Well for starters i have a boyfriend named Brandon.we started off good.But then he started to ignore me most of the time.he went off break and I cried :cry: So i just decided to ignore him as well as he did to me and decided to leave him.I thought i was over him and he doesnt know that.Well,in my dream,Brandon was back at skool.nd i started to get a weird feeling even though i decided not to like him anymore.So i kept walking past him to get his attention but he justdid the same thing and ignored me.So i pretended to cry to get his attention but,it didnt work.Also it was a cloudy and foggy day in my dream.What does this all meen? :help:

Only you can really determine what it all means. I've seen tons of books on interpreting dreams, but it all comes down to you :D

Just sit and ponder each part of the dream, your heart will tell you what it means.

i would interpret it as your subconcious telling you that you should get back together with him, but thats just my opinion.

I'm pretty sure that you can't just "Not like somebody". However, I would sort of agree with Death-Wuad on this, it may mean that you still have feelings for this Brandon fellow and seek to resume contact with him. The cloudy and foggy day may represent how unsure you feel about this situation and how the answer you seek is unclear. If you still feel something for him but do not wish to, you need to sit down and ask yourself "why? What makes him so special?"

Personally I'd have to say that it means naff all. The whole idea that dreams have to mean anything is just some ploy to make it acceptable to publish books saying 'if you dream of a monkey in a hammock, a job promotion is coming your way.'. What a load of bullshit.

the cloudy weather part could mean nothing, but the fact you noticed and mentioned it does :wink:

It can only mean no one cares about your crys for attention.

Here's the deal: True dream interpretation has nothing to do with" this means you will win the lottery".

The psychological psychoanalitical way to interpret dreams is actually pretty complex. You must know the specific content of the dream is meaningless. It makes no sense the way it is and no attention should be placed on it this way. You see, your brain uses some sort encoding in order for it to be able to fulfill your unconscious desires withour your conscious self being aware of them. What it does is take certain elements and substitute them for something you associate with them on a conscious or unconscious level. By doing this it does not explicitely perform the action, but at the same time it still fulfills the desire to do so.

In order for you to know what it really means you must discover it yourself. You have to break the dream down in pieces and try to see what realtions can you find for each of them. This is best if done with a psychologist for he can direct you in the process and he can help you to not be censured by your unconscious.

The meaning of the dream seems rather obvious when related to your feelings towards Brandon. It is obvious that you still have feelings for him and that you feel that you do not have his attention anymore.

The crying represents that desperate feeling and depserately wanting the attention of someone or to be consoled. You may feel that your life is very incomplete right now without him. Walking by him and the "ignoring" that is occuring could simply represent how you feel that you want him to notice you, although you feel that your relationship has diminished..

The fog could represent the dense clairity of the situation on your part; "Does he still like me? Maybe we can get back together?"

What do I suggest? Talk to him and don't try to create clever tricks to see how much he cares for you. It is what leads to people kissing and fooling around in order to try and make the other jealous.

Why is it bullshit to think that the subconscious mind protrays your feelings to yourself? A lot of the books do use crappy interpretations; such as the quick-interpretation books in which you look up the symbol and then recieve a quick definition. Dreams emphasis and symbolism are completely relative and introverted.

There is a difference between interpretations to try and please an individual and true interpretations. Some psychologist and.. well, every 900 hot line are simply to please the foolish individual whom thinks that such things are so simply deciphered.

Dreams take time and much psychoanalsis to fully understand the meaning and emphasis - although, yes, sometimes they are completely unfathomable, but not all the time.

If dreams where devoid of meaning, then why do dream what we dream? If you do not believe they have meaning, then I would feel it safe to assume you do not believe dreams are introverter portrayals of whatever is on the subconscious mind - perhaps you believe dreams are gifts of clairvoyance from a higher being? And if that is so - then should they not have even more meaning?
