I don't really see many people talk about them that often, I've just started getting into Lucid Dreaming and I was just curious what kind of dream guides everyone had..
Are they human? Off-the-Wall personalities??

dream guide? like a literal guide? Ive never experienced one in LDing, only in hypnosis
i think i might have found mine. he is a wizard that looks like seekers picture with a hat and rides on his broom. he said "so you want to become lucid eh? and i did with out RC :D sadly i didn't catch his name.Quote:

Hmm, I have yet to have more lucid dreams, I hope once I do I will find my guide. (Maybe it will be some lovely lady, oh that would be wonderful, I could change her outfits and take off...oh wait--- i mean look into my inner conciounce.
I think that if you are expecting to find a guide you will find one. Thats said however whatever you expect to happen in a dream can happen. It depends on your deeper philosophy of life because a christian may see an objectivist god, which source of enlightenment may come from an person "out there" and somewhat superior. On the other hand, the contemporary to this, I guess, is that the source of enlightment and so called beings comes from within. This may be explained by quantum physics as in the ability to live in 2 different dimensions simultanenously, and also that time can be travelled through in is own dimension.
The point is if you look at a dream character and your completely lucid you can think whatever you want depending on the situation. You could make love with them, you could ask them to be a dream character and because your soul (that mind which travels with you when you leave your body) wants a dream character, or has been unduly thinking about dream characters, then ofcourse your projection is capable of making that available for you.
The point of the matter is; what your beleifs and succeptabilities to dream character concepts are "now" ( embodied in your physical) will stay with you in while you lucid.
