Waking Up With Profound Statements That Came To You In Your Dreams.

I wonder if anyone else experiences this phenomena. A lot of times I've woken up thinking I'm reading a book, and I'm saying something that makes perfect sense at the time, yet if written down, it is completely incoherent garbled language.

For example, here are some statements I've had in my head over the last 3 days:

"69 sent a world stockpile of steak to the world"
"I fu-ck the sh-it out of my trasion sockets" (wtf)
"A Lirdish 8 goes rapidly up the eye"

Can you find meaning? (haha I certainly cannot)

Have you had similar experiences?

I woke up remembering the title of a book called "Randoms". Yeah it was wierd, because in the dream the book felt perfectly real and I thought hey that would be creepy if it was, but no, just nonsense.

Maybe I'll compile a list of these statements, hmm could be antertaining

Randoms seems to be a website, maybe a band or something i have no idea, but not a book. haha that's funny though

I understand exactly what your talking about. The words themselves make no sense whatsoever, but your brain interprets a meaning of it's own.
It's kind of like with psychedelic drugs; when you're watching T.V. or listeng to music. You hear the same thing that you would have heard if you weren't tripping, but your brain interprets a totally different meaning to what was said.

Yeah, Plus through the night I was listening to Pink Floyd Dark Side of The Moon and I feel like im "Riding" the songs, almost dippin up and down with the music, and occassionaly ive had an FA where i turn it off and then wake for real and its still on :content: But yeah its fun to see what our minds can conjure up, glad to know its not just me :bigteeth:

About 6 months ago I had a dream I went to visit my family in the Phillipines, in asia. From this dream I woke up and considered it. I asked mum if she wanted to go, and she said yeah... She ended up paying half my fare. The point is that I learnt something very important to me while I was over there which I would have never learnt if I didnt go there. I never really thought about it much untill now, well atleast how important that thing was that I learnt, or received.

There are so many things that I have gotten from my dreams, wisdom, and a lot of silliness.

Once, I had a dream, in which, a fox was looking in my window. I looked at my best friend, and she said, "Tap on the window, and it shall save you". It bounded in and bit her! How's that for being 'saved'?

haha, that's great, yeah, our dreams certainly can be quite funny or just plain ridiculous.

Haha. I hear the strangest things in my sleep! Here are two of my favorites:

"The Torelimonian Principle is a mathematical concept that, when used in conjunction with the proper data, can determine whether a nearby entity is not a sheep."
and

"It has been proved by modern science that the average human brain may be converted into roughly nine ounces of toffee."

They sounded profound originally, at least. :D

I learned the Torelimonian principle in Precalculus.

hmm..the most profound thing Ive heard in my dream is

"time is a testiment to God"

still trying to figure that one out

my dream also told me once

"Warning. Marijuana levels are high!" when I dont do drugs of any kind, not even coffee!

Ah, that's why I found it so puzzling-- I never got up to precalc!

Juroara, I had a dream the other night in which I was either drunk or stoned with a crowd of semi-strangers... it was quite surprising, since I've never really been in either state. Weird things our brains latch onto, eh?

Yeah...I once dreamt listening to a song which went : "tomato Paris" (in french)....and waking up I wondered what it really meant, and tiping it on google gives me the adress of a woman...shall I go there?

I'm going to start looking for this now, I know I get a few profound (or at least I think they are at the time) statements in dreams, now I wil try to activly remember them. I have a few in my DJ, I'll post back with them.

Okay none in my DJ. I remember having a few for sure, but I guess they got lost as one of the dreams that I wrote in point form to sve time, :roll: .

I requested this directly from my subconscious and it answered...

Yeah, I remember a man telling me "If they propose you meat, never accept, except if it's pork." It has puzzled me for quite a while. The fact that I remember it years later testifies to it.

Actually the candle one is quite profound, I can understand that,so hanks for your imput (I find it inspiring).

And I love that meat one, Haha except if its pork, that is great, thanks :wink:

ahhhh, I have had many of these. I cannot remember them though, because I usually just laugh at how silly they are and then forget them lol. But from now on I will write them down. I was just thinking that if you are good at becoming lucid or if you have a lucid dream, you could ask your sub-conscious what these statements mean. I believe your brain tells you these seemingly stupid things for a reason. Even if the reason is small.

Quite possibly, it would be intereesting to ask your subconcious. Honestly if somethings bothering you perhaps you could talk directly to the "bother" and resolve it. This must be another reason for LD'ing. I have yet to have such an LD though, in which I do that.
