Is this the same as what you experience during sleep paralysis or is it different? I know I was so close one time because my body was numb and my eyes were twitching like crazy. I got freaked out and jolted awake. I have overcome my fear of sleep paralysis and this is why I was wondering if it's about the same kind of feeling of switching from SP to lucidity. Anyone know? If it is a similar experience then I won't be as scared of it. |

I am not an expert on WILD, but I think to reach WILD, you have to achieve sleep paralysis, and then once you have done that, you can keep on relaxing your body until you enter a dream state. |

Wow I just tried it when I went home for lunch break and it seemed as if the paralysis was very slowly taking over(like only my legs...weird), but it was taking forever to see any dream images or even become fully paralyzed. I believe it may just work, but I'll have to get better and more efficient at it somehow. |

I'm gonna try it in the morning, but it's really hard to not just fall right back to sleep after the alarm goes off. Oh well I don't have much to lose from it I don't guess. It's just that I was impatient and had some things planned for my next dream and didn't want to wait so I tried at lunch. I better be careful not to sleep my life away LOL. |

This sounds like an absolutely normal attempt to WILD. Don't worry about those things, you were actually very close to a lucid dream. |
