what do you mean, like, does our confidence decrease when lots of people that are new to lucid dreaming now, are having trouble getting lucid? i hope there will always be lucid dreaming, it doesn't really scare me, it just makes me wonder if lucid dreaming will die down, atleast for all the new people.
Just somtimes when i tell my friends about the forum i hope the first post they read isnt "ivv been trying for years!!" lol because that might deter them.
-All these people, if they put the effort in CAN have lucid dreams.
-For me the first month i got a extra hour of sleep, wokeup myself up in middle of night took b6 and stuff and i had two LDs the first month.
-Then i got lazy up untill this month basicly ( a year later lol ) (by not getting enough sleep or doing many Rcs at all), i just started getting 8 hours a night two weeks ago And i just had a awsome lucid.
-So really i have only been "trying with effort" for about 3 months tops.
Different people take different amounts of time. I wouldn't let it discourage me though. Some people, that includes me, have to work really hard for their lucidity. I wish I was a natural like some that come in here and have an LD immediately.
I agree with Seeker, for alot it takes time, but that doesn't mean that it won't happen. In fact if you have the will you have the way(if that makes any sense). Don't give up, I think the Kn00bipeople, should encourage you, you have alot of support behind you and everyones here to help. Keep trying, and don't doubt your confidence, rest easy that your mind has the ability, and think of it like a movie "what does my mind have in store for me tonghit" going in with a relaxed attitude is key.
Good luck, and good LD's
Nope because Ive never had much trouble trying to have lucids. It does however decrease my confidence when people who joined many months after me have more lds than me.
