OMFG! I just did the sweetest thing ever!

I did about 10 APs in a row. An AP is like a very very vivid LD. So vivid in fact is exactly like real life. They all lasted 5 mins each or so. I did so many cool things. I flew around in a star wars type fighter. I took a swim in a pool I formed into my driveway. I talked to my family. I flew a jet/helicopter hybrid vehicle. It was so cool.

Now let me tell you how I did it. I was sleeping for 6 hours and still tired as hell. After 2-3 hours I decided to try something. I wanted to try to AP. Well, I knew that the way to do it was meditate. Well, I had never meditated before. I just stay there focusing on nothing around me etc etc. Eventually I could feel things fade away. Next I tried picturing areas. That did not work. What did work was really funny. All I did was got up out of bed. But I was still asleep every time. The first time I actually thought I was awake. I mean everything was EXACTLY like real life. All of my senses were in full use. I did not do anything in it. I went back to my body then tried it again. I got up out of it like before and went outside and tried some things that I could not normally do. I did all sorts of cool things. I kept on talking out loud to myself on how cool this was. I mean everything was as real as real life. There was no difference except I got to play god.

I kept doing this over and over and over. I thought it was not going to stop. I was almost afraid it would not. For a second I said, oh the hell with it, and just decided to keep on doing it.

Here is the cool one. I get up out of my body. I wanted a cooler thing to fly this time. Well, I was thinking of a helicopter but I wanted something better. When I got upstairs I looked at it. It looked kind of wierd at first. I got up to it and was trying to figure out how to get in. Next thing I know the thing starts changing its form. A cockpit came down to me for me to get in. First I saw two spots where feet went into. I stuck them in there and layed back in it. Everything started moving around me as it formed into my body. It even formed into my hands and arms etc. There was a joystick like object I used to fly and some controls to the left. Eventually I was able to get off the ground. It was cool.

Also, I did the same thing with the smaller fighter. That dream was cool too. I got up out of my body and looked outside. I saw x wings and other things flying across the sky blowing each other up. I was like holy sweetness this is fun. Anyways, I knew I needed a flying vehicle too. I made one appear and got in. It was small, but sure as hell was fast. Took me a min to figure out how to get it off the ground. Evevntually I did and starting using forward thrusters. Holy crap can this thing fly. I was just zooming through the sky shooting at anything in my sight. I even decided to test the missles. I locked onto a target and fired. The missle followed and hit and blew him up. It was cool.

There was even one dream where as soon as I got out of it I was a cyborg type thing. In my vision I had some things to the left of the screen so to speak. I also saw a targetting things in the middle with some words on the right while I was booting up.

Everything was as real as now. I felt the slight warmth out the outdoors. For a moment I was extemely thirsty. When I jumped into pool I felt the texture and the chill of the pool. When I looked up when I Was in the water everything was a bold blue color. Everything felt as though it was real. I could do anything. I mean there was no failing at getting something to form or done. It worked every time.

All I can say is that I am going to do this EVERY DAY now. It is like being able to do anything you desire. I just had the best day so far of my life.

You guys should try it just like I did. It was nothing like normal lucid dreams. It was much much more.

Were you like a wet-cement type driveway that was just finished? Did you change into like one of those carports? Man sweet. Im gonna do the Driveway thing tonight. Must be a hell of a Rush!

No but seriously Nice AP's Maybe you have it mastered to the point where you can induce them at will. Keep it up Sport!

Lol, typos are not fair. About mastering it... I just tried it for the first time today. Maybe I am a natural then. Either way it was so cool, lol. It was like being in some sort of virtual reality where you play god.

now its funny... if you tell a normal person on the street about what you did, they'll call you f**king nuts. i think more people need to be aware of these things. like, i had my first really vivid ld's last night, and it was a heck of an experience... i would recommend it to all my friends, but they would just try and send me to a mental hospital . and i have a question about your induction of AP- you said you got out of bed... did you get out of bed in your mind? or did you just once in a while get out of a bed to see if you were in another reality?

AP/WILD, whats the difference? Perhaps you just did the most awesome super pure form of WILD, sounds like it to me....

That's exaclty what I though, the only difference being he was able to see his real body. But this can be done in a WILD I suppose....

It could be either one, I guess the only way to know is being there, which he was. So we'll just have to assume it was an AP...

Cool experience man, I'll have to see if I can try that tomorrow...
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow

      First day, man, nice.

I'd like to believe everybody can be somewhat of a natural LD'er, depending on how they induce the dreams. It's not limited to popular techniques...nonono.

That's cool. I myself mistake my dreams for reality, even after getting lucid. It's amazing how real it can get.

I was pulling myself out of my body, not actually waking up. It was definately an AP and not a WILD. This was much more realistic than any LD I have ever had. It was so freaking real and I had the power to do anything. Things did not change when I looked at them then looked away and back again.

The reason I say it was an AP was because what I did was meditate in bed. Eventually I was able to get my body to fall asleep with my mind still awake. Then I just pulled myself out of my body and had fun.

I guess imagine you are awake and day dreaming about something. When you do that what you think about always works so to speak. I mean that is what I was doing except my body was completely shut down so I could really focus on the things I was thinking of. That is why they were so vivid. They were as real as real life because I was not paying attention to anything outside my mind.

Reality checks do not work an AP. The only way you can tell it is a dream is by doing something that would be impossible to do. I mean the house I live in was exactly the same as it was when I woke up. Nothing was off except the things I added. But you should know it is a dream anyways because you conciously entered it.

That does sound sweet. The experience you described seem to be on the level of absolute lucidity. A level of experience in which you can directly enter into vivid LDs at will. Congrats, and hope you have more fun with that while I sit here and be jealous, for now.

Well, lets see if I can do it on the second try, hehe. Now I just need to figure out what I am going to do in the next one.

Before I got into Lucid Dreaming I was trying to AP but when I relaxed myself enough I got a feeling like my body was sinking downwards, I always chickened out at that point because I'd heard bad stuff can happen to you when you are on the Astral Plane...
These are the tears that I dream about...

I tried doing what you described today, I meditated trying to distance myself from everything. I had some trouble doing this but finally felt my body start to fall asleep. That is when I decided to try and get up and open my eyes(thinking I would be doing this in the astral plane), but ended up doing this in real life. Which, needless to say sucked...

But no harm done, I still had 2 lucid dreams after that...

It is a reality that even the closest people, husband and wife, will dream different dreams. That means, people are never alike in their minds. The connotation is that you got to be wary of even the people you trust the most
