Hey guys, I had my first lucid dream last night which lasted longer than 5 seconds so I tried a lot of stuff. One of the things I tried was rubbing both my hands to see how it would feel. It's really strange! How do you feel things in your lucid dreams/dreams in general? Is it a really vivid sensation?

I tasted things in lucid and non lucid dreams before, and the taste were very vivid and very good, one was a fluffly pumpkin cake with creamy frosting and that was really good, that one was lucid, one of my other ones was a oatmeal cookie really chewy and it had chocalte chips in it too(nonlucid). I usally don't have very vivid touch sense in lucid dreams. Unless it's pain, I rememebr in one ld that I was trying to do some thing on the computer in a lucid dream because I remember reading some lucid technique with it but anyway my dog was there and it was scrathing at my hand while I was trying to do the computer and I remember that very vividly.

I wish I had that kind of dreams! Mine are never very vivid or maybe I just don't recall their vividness... And yes, pain feels very real in dreams for me, too! Once I had a dream in which these little creatures with really sharp teeth were biting me and it hurt really bad! Worst of all... I wouldn't wake up so I had to keep running from them the whole dream!

Flavours sometimes are vivid but other times I will just eat and things will have no taste.

I eat alot in my dreams. In a recent lucid I could actually taste the saltwater from the sea. It depends on the dream, though.

It's just that everything in my dreams feels like a hologram so I don't really feel like I'm touching stuff unless I'm really focused on feeling it and usually I wake up when I try to do that...

The most recent feeling I can remember was a couple days ago (saturday) when I became lucid from my routine reality check. I remember pushing my finger through the back of my hand. It felt like... Like I was touching very soft skin, which was rubbery and stretched under pressure effortlessly after the first puncture.

As of yet, I cannot remember any smells or tastes I've had in my dreams. My friend when I was young had a very interesting dream in which her creamed corn tasted like a hot fudge sundae!

Taste and touch are usually very vivid for me. Recently in a lucid I went on a slapping spree. When I came to my sister, she slapped me back and it felt like a real slap, really stung lol.

In my normal dreams it's about as real as real life

Whenever I become lucid there is a slight distortion in senses, but still very lifelike

The contrary happens to me, whenever I become lucid the dream will become more vivid.

Generally my senses are more vivid, but most of all sight. Everything becomes very sharp. I can feel subtle things like wind and textures. Taste is incredible. However, I don't ever recall hearing or smelling anything really...

Yeah, I notice that too, when I wake up I can't really recall the vividness of dreams very well. I know they're vivid because in my second lucid I made a mental note to remember that my dreams actually seem pretty real.

Yes, I always feel in lucids. But the feeling is alot weaker than in reality.

Imagine a lucid dream so realistic, that is was as realistic as real life. That would be so amazing and fun, yet kinda freaky at the same time (it's all in your mind !!&#33

That's my goal, have the ultimate lucid reality!!!

Yeah, that would be great! I've had a few of these from wilds, but as I didn't react to them like I would react to a normal lucid dream I woke up suddenly but not like I would usually wake up from a lucid... It was really weird... So I don't really know if it actually was a lucid or an OBE! But then again... not everyone believes that!

Having lucid dreams that match the the realism of our waking lives has been my goal from the start, in fact i'm only happy with a lucid dream if its as real as my waking life, anything else seems to much of a standard dream, thats why i can't wait until my fourth lucid dream

Well, in my dreams everything looks pretty realistic but maybe it's just my dreaming mind that can't compare the dream to waking life situations...

What do you mean by "see as in real life"? Do you mean it was like a videogame, you watched yourself in thirdperson or something else?
