Wow... I never thought of it that way.

Now I'm sad, too...

Yeah, I always get the, "Oh, yeah, I never have dreams." Then I go into the explanation of everyone dreams every night, but then they lose interest. Again, I think you have to experience an LD to realize how cool it really is.

Actually, wikipedia already has a large, well written article about lucid dreaming, as well as some good tutorials, it's where I first heard of lucid dreaming.

I've gotten at least one person although I told a few other friends, some of whom said "it's possible, I've had one" while others seemed to say "it cannot happen" or "it cannot be proven that you are in control" or something like that. However, one of the disbelievers later changed his mind about it, although he did not have any lucid dreams...

Up until a few months ago when I joined I though LDs were a natural part of dreaming and that everyone does it, so never really spoke to anyone about it. But since I have found out more about it I have told a couple of people, a lot seem interested, but never really tried it, I cant say i have tried to get people into it either really. They just think its really cool that i can do this :)

I've never managed to get anyone to hold a conversation about LDing (other than other LDers), let alone get someone into it. Plus, everyone I've spoken to discovered it themselves.

I'm not surprised, it's a personal thing, but.... it is fun.

I've gotten my cousin into it. When he comes over we will talk abotu it and discuss methods every now and them.

i tried telling my family about it, my mum isn't really interested, my brother doesn't see the point in it, my sister i slightly interested in it, she wants to re-live old memories, but i suppose it sucks for them, they don't get to feel the power of lucid dreaming!
