Usually i recall no internal thought while dreaming. I talk sometimes but i never think. I just gooo with the flowwww. Its also really hard for me to realize im dreaming due to this. In RL im a thinker, i think constantly about random and occasionaly about LDing. My dreams arent in 3rd person, but i seem to have no idea on which " Road to take" or whatever. :( :(
i have this exact problem, but to be honest, the only way to improve chances of thinking within a dream is to add some awareness to it, do this by being more aware in your wakin life, for example, last night i had a dream that a girl i know joined these forums, i can't believe i didn't realise when it was about these forums, just do some more RC's, but raising your general awareness is the best and most effective way. I find that if i'm not very aware, time seems to fly by very fast, this may be why my dreams seem so short when recalling them, its almost like getting in sync with reality, with time so that you are aware of every second of your existence, this should reflect in your dreams thus you being able to think in your dreams, i'm still working on my awareness and its slowly coming but don't give up, keep at it and you will be a thinker in both worlds, good luck, hope this helped, if it made any sense :|Quote:

I know exactly how you feel. I had a dream I was in a class about lucid dreaming and the overhead broke. It seemed so obvious when I woke up. I usually don't remember feelings or thoughts either, but I think I have remembered more since starting my dream journal. Hopefully if you have a DJ and especially write down thoughts when you do remember them you will increase the thinking you do in your dreams.Quote:

Thanks, i had 3 vivid dreams last night, and i remember thinking. I was in 7-11 and i saw that they were selling N64 games for like 30-40$. I thought to my self " Wow thats way expensive for that system"
So maybe we do think in our dreams just our recall sucks.

If I'm in a 3rd person dream, I usually don't have much thought at all, but if I'm in my body in the dream, I usually have thought processes and stuff.
Perhaps the randomness of your thoughts is part of the problem. In a dream, random thoughts aren't very likely to help you become lucid, and even thought about lucidity isn't guaranteed to make you lucid. However, if you spend time analyzing your environment, and what's happening at the moment, and trying to notice anything out of the ordinary, this habit is far more likely to occur in your dreams and help you become lucid.Quote:
