once ya know ur dreaming or that lucid thing how do u control what you do?

Once you notice your dreaming, it will be like your awake and you should have normal control of yourself. As for flying around and doing weird stuff like that you just have to try doing things.

This is just a guideline, not necessarily fact.

When you first get lucid, your thinking won't be as thorough as it is now, so you'll have limited thinking skills at first. But, you can sort of think on the surface and on a light level, and depending on the realism of the dream, you can do certain things...but, it's already amazing enough just to look around. Really, it's easier than you may think.

What Alric and Eric said is pretty much it. When you realize you are dreaming you will be able to do anything that you put your mind into. I suggest you try and gain as much awareness as possible, perhaps by repeating to yourself "This is a dream" or yelling "SUPER LUCIDITY!!!". This generally works for me.

If you are aware enough there should be little things that you can't do. Don't stress about it, when the moment comes it will fell natural to you, you'll see....

P.S You could have squeezed it all in one post you know...and n00b pretty much means new guy...

Welcome! Yes, controlling your actions in the dreamworld is exactly like controlling yourself in the real world, which some exceptions... like the laws of physics. :D
