A Healthy Lucid Age...questions for the experienced

I have been thinking about one question, i have been in thinking about my lucid age and # of LDs and many thing related to LDs. So my QUESTIONS are (to the more experienced L-Dreamers) What are the Healthy Lucid ages?
I have been told before that 3 months and 8 LDs isnt very healthy and i've been told its great! I also ask if RCs should have droppen into my dreams like in the first month of them.
I know RCs are a HUUUGE part of LDs but if i have spent all my time doing RCs and only having LDs when doing the WBTB method then what the hell is the point of RCs???!!
I just want to leave the frustration of not doint RCs in dreams when i do one about once every 45 mintues or so.

Everyone is totally different. There is no guideline that can be paired up against correctly.

Just keep doing what your doing, learning what you can as you go alone, and cherish what LDs you do have.

I've only had one more lucid than you, but I can tell you from a psychological viewpoint that lucid dreaming can't make your mind less healthy. The critisism that I've heard is that dreams are meant for the brain to sort out extra information that it's gathered throughout the day and lucid dreaming disrupts that.

The average lucid dream is only a few minutes, it doesn't make a dent ino your sleep (unless you are waking up right after.)

That's about right. I had that many in the first 3 months.

Don't look at RCs as something you "HAVE" to do. Like a boring technical exercise. The whole point is to be constantly questioning your reality, even though you know you're awake. Just asking the question will create a habit where you'll eventually do it in your dreams. How can you have LDs if you never question anything during your wake state? Chances are, if you don't, you won't do it in your dream state either.

I'm going to agree with Alprazolam, keep practicing what your doing, it may not be working atm but the results in the long run will be awesome, i've just learnt this with MILDing, i gave up on it but recently after giving it a go i'm slowly gettin there, it feels good climbing the ladder to lucidity, all i can say is keep on climbing!

So how long did it take you guys to start questioning your reality in your dreams?

Oh, a couple months for me. And even then, it's not in every dream. I question reality of good things that happen now, as well as in stressful situations. Kinda makes me sad sometimes (aw... The magical doll isn't real. Aw... My fish didn't spawn an awesome new strain.). I'm more likely to realize I'm dreaming in a "too good to be true!" dream than a depressing one. Dx

I actually never do an RC to become lucid. I just suddenly find myself lucid in a dream. Most of my LDs are WILDs, anyway.
