Looking at hands in dreams.

Last night I tried to increase my vividness/lucidity (is that even a word?lol) by looking at my hands, but all I could see in them was my reflection. Is this right? I have never really tried any of the techniques to stay lucid or increase the vividness of my dreams, but recently have been trying them all out. Rubbing hands didn't work, spinning didn't work either, so then last night I tried just looking at my hands, but I could see my reflection in them, Is this supposed to happen, or should I have seem my hands normally?

My hands seem to be diffrent in every dream i'm looking at them, once my hand was vanished and this night i had over 20 fingers on one hand. Usually your hands are diffrent than normal in every dream when you look at them. It's wery reliable RC for me.

It's also been a very reliable RC for me over many years, but I've never seen nor heard of seeing one's reflection in one's hands, so I can't shed any light on that, I'm afraid. Keep trying, though. Don't give it up as a bad job.

Ah right, I didn't think that was supposed to happen. Was interesting though...

Need to keep trying to find something that works for me, although think I have found one as per my other thread about drawing :)

i looked at my hands in a dream once they were all black and shadowy but after i saw them i woke up :<

I've been looking at my hands so often that when I did so in my dream there were no defects! From now on I'm going to have to put my finger through my hand as well.

Looking at my hands used to be a very reliable RC, in fact I became lucid every time. But in the past two weeks I've seen my hands over 7 times and never once became lucid.

Any idea why it won't work for me?
