Lucid

Hey guys,

The other night I had a very quick lucid dream that maybe lasted for no more than 30 seconds or so...

Immediately after that dream ended, I found myself staring into darkness at a swirling tunnel of silver light that was in the center of my vision. Just a big, round, circular object that was rotating in space.

Around it there were stars that were quickly passing me by, as if I was travelling through outer space.

I was fully lucid while staring at this object, and wondering what in the name of God was going on and what I was looking at. It was also accompanied by sounds...not "imaginary" sounds, but REAL sounds that vibrated in my ear drums like any other "real" waking sound... the sound of a baby crying... a woman having an orgasm....very, very strange.

Anyone had any sort of experience like this? A lucid dream that wasn't really a regular "dream" with a storyline or anything like that....but rather just a visual/auditory "tripout"?

What you experienced was hypnagogic imagery or HI, its the stage normally experienced after sleep paralysis however it sounds like you were exiting a dream, did you find that the imagery and sounds began to fade? If so then you were exiting the dream and going back into normal sleep.

i have had the exact dream a few years ago,you just reminded me. i thought it was astral travel = ]
