Hey, is it possible for everyone to LD? Is WILD basically when you force yourself into LD's? Because I can't do it, I'v heard (Read) from some Threads on this Forum that a good way is to do Back Flips in your Imagination but when I do that my Eye Lids start flicking and basically start being funny. Can someone explain how I do Back Flips in my Imagination? Also I don't know what it means when you feel nothing... So yeah, LD Newb needs some Help with this ;)

During REM (rapid eye movement) sleep your eyes flick back and forth in your head hence the name, this happens to you when you WILD as you enter REM although not everybody experiences it
how do I make it go away so I can carry on my Imagination/WILD successfully?
Edit 1 - I'm going to Google 'REM' and see what comes up, if it's used often I may be in Luck ;)

you dont really have to do backflips to do a WILD, when they tell you to do backflips they are basicly telling you to keep your mind busy with somthing while your body falls asleep. they are not required lol :D
i dont know if you have had a lucid dream before, but you should prbably get one using a different technique before you try WILD. Reason being because WILD is one of the hardest techniques there is (but also the most reliable :wink: ) and if you havent had a lucid dream before trying to induce one from the waking state, its going to be extremly difficult for you. But that is your choice not mine :content:
when they say they "feel nothing, they're probably meaning sleep paralisis. cause you dont really feel your real body in sleep paralisis

If I'm not mistaken REM is the most important part of the sleep cycle. I heard that you go insane or something like that, if you don't have REM sleep.
i dont think he was even in rem sleep. I think he was straining too hard to imagine those backflips lol
