      Mid-Day Naps

I dont sleep much during the day I find it hard to sleep when its light but sometimes Ill just fall asleep for a couple of hours mid-day and when i wake up I will have had the most amazingly vivid dreams, far more so than when I dream at night. Also my recall for daytime dreams is much better.
Anyone else find this happens to them?
I dont know why it is, one possibility is that when I sleep in the day, usually the TV is on so I could be listening to the telvision and turing it into images in my dream.

Actually, the only T.V. I watch is the news and The Simpsons and it's the same thing for me. I can't sleep during the day, unless I'm sick, wasted, or on a road trip. In which case I usually don't sleep well.

Yea usually when I fall asleep during the day (which isn't often cause it makes me feel funny when I wake up) I seem to dream almost the entire time I'm asleep.

If I am not mistaken, this happens for a couple of reasons:

      1. When you nap the mayority of the time, if not all, you are in REM sleep.

      2. You are more aware than when you go to bed tired at night. Sleeping is different from napping. There are no moments where you lack a consiousness(like non-REM periods, in which there is no "you", per se)

This is what I could think might have an effect on it, but I might be mistaken. It just sounds logical...
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...
