odd thing concerning DILDS and Dream Control

This odd thing I mean happened to me twice already, and one of them was on my first LD.

It is like this: I get a DILD in the night, and when I try to do something hard with dream ocntrol (teleporting, stopping time etc) the dream goes all black and I lose all my consciousness

Then, in my next dream (or is it the continuation fo the dream before?) I am there doing whatever; and suddenly BAM! I'm lucid again.



Now I wonder: is that thing that happens (the dream going black) simply a strange way of me losing lucidity? Are the two dreams really two dreams?
And it also makes me wonder if, by getting lucid once, does it make another DILD more susceptible for any reason? (the mind expecting to be in a dream already)


I just wanted to discuss the possibilities
