Hmm dunno... but reading in general is hard in dreams. It's actually a common reality check. But would be interesting.
Im not bad at remembering my dreams so next lucid dream i have im gonna read a sentence or two and wake up and write down what I read.
i remember reading once. all it said was "dont eat the jambilia". the next day (real world) i open my meal ready to eat (MRE) and it was jambilia. stupid me eats it. i was hugging the toilet both ways within 2 hours.
In order to read something in your dream you are most likely going to have to have some mad Lucidity and Vividness. Reading in itself in your dream is quite a complicated matter and while you may be able to pull of a sentence or make out some words it will most likely be a jumbled mess that makes absolutely no sense. The more Lucid and Vivid the dream is however the more you will be able to make out.
From the few times I have read during dreams, it reads fine, except it makes no sense at all. And if you look at it again, it's different.
Sentences like: Go Run the World is a Brown Lion on top...almost like a complex riddle, yet childish in way.
First post. Hello, everyone :)
I haven't tried reading books, but I've tried to read music sheets. It said "Geminte" under the notes, but I have no idea whatsoever what this means :p
Another time my friend wrote "Sonsy Demec" on a piece of paper (hence my nick). Doesn't make much sense :shakehead2:
I think you only project your thoughts into what you are reading, rather than reading the actual words. Once I remember getting a sentence out of something that looked like 8zygjkhuouthgt.
I read alot of books and articles in my dream, they make sense and are normal.
I read a newspaper in a dream once. I found it to be much like Stream of consciousness writing, a literary technique
