The REAL lucid dream
I've noticed that when Im sleep deprived enough after a few days up on speed I start to dream while im still awake. Memories of dreams start flowing through but I start hallucinating things that arent there.
One day I saw a piece of plastic moving or vibrating real fast. It caught my eye and I went in for a closer inspection and it stopped moving. A voice in my head said "this is a parallel universe".
Another time I saw a footprint on the wall that wasnt there the next morning. That same night I felt the whole house shaking I even saw the change on the table rattling but it was a physical impossibility.
My visual hallucinations were alright but the auditory hallucinations got fairly negative and evil at times. Voices in my head trying to convince me I was dead.
Anyone ever had dreams (or nightmares) integrated into regular reality?

None of my experiences have been quite that intense, but often times if my mind wanders for too long--and I've been up for a while--I feel as though I'm looking through someone else's eyes. Said feeling is usually accompanied by a great deal of confusion about who I am. I generally snap out of it within a few seconds, however.
Sleep deprivation indeed will do strange things to the mind.

That it will. The weirdest experiences of my life were while I was sleep deprived. Another time I could smell burning plastic everywhere I went and I thought it was my brain I was smelling so I checked myself into the hospital for the night.
A voice in my head was saying words I didnt understand so I had to check the dictionary and I realized it related to what I was thinking. Words like, serendepety, frivolous, dichotomy, derelict, troglodyte. I obviously looked up the definitions in the past and my subconscious remembers them.
I kept getting synchronicity and seeing signs everywhere. Id be thinking about something then Id turn on the TV and at that exact moment someone on the TV is talking about the exact same thing I was thinking. It seemed way too improbable to be a coincidence in my irrational state of mind so i was convinced god or the universe was speaking to me through symbols.
I never had insane hallucinations like TV characters talking to me like that film about the speed addicts Requiem for a Dream. The only time I've ever talked to people on the TV was when i was on salvia but thats the king of insanity as far as drugs are concerned in my opinion. I never thought id become a couch or a 2 dimensional puzzle and forget my name and who I was until I took salvia.
All hail salvia :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown: the king of hallucinogens.

I cant say i have been on any drugs, on Mary Jane:p, but yeah i know what sleep deprevation does to you as well, i cant say i have seen to many things moving and such, but as you said i have had in a similair way to the signs, i actually think they are really there everyday and all around us.

Haha psychosis nuff said, good at times, messed up usually, sleeping 2/3 hours per day due to voices keeping me up, constant visual hallucinations, paranoia, I'd say classifies as a waking nightmare;)

Keurslager knows what im talking about. Psychosis to say the least some doctors would even classify it as schizophrenia. Drug induced schizophrenia that is. Yeah a waking nightmare. The first time it happened I was scared shitless. A voice was saying "just pack your bags and leave your dead already" and I thought it was a ghost trying to get me outta the house. Of course being a hardheaded bastard I just lay there and told it to fuck off in my mind but I was convinced the voices were real.
Surprisingly weed does some weird shit to me too. I take shrooms and dont really hallucinate I only have an altered perception but I get some mild visual hallucinations smoking weed. Hear voices sometimes too but nothing compared to sleep dep.

I don't take drugs, but being sleep deprived does give me some weird effects. When I don't sleep, even if I'm standing up, all I have to do is close my eyes and I see HI. It's really cool, but I almost feel off my bike one time when I did that.
