I recently had a dream where a DC suddenly turned to me and said "This is a dream! - We're in the dreamtime"
It's a great way to go lucid, anyone else had this happen to them?

Recently I had a voice tell me I was dreaming and I tried to ignore it for the longest time because I didn't want to seem crazy. :p
There is no way a DC would ever tell me I'm dreaming. I'm the one always yelling 'I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming!" and then my DC's get mad and try to get me 'un-lucid'. :( I would LOVE it if my dream characters would tell me I'm dreaming...
Last night I had an LD and said to a DC
"Come and tell me that I'm dreaming tomorrow night, please!" and she said OK. Do you think that would work? well i'll just have to wait and see until tonight, but still... i wonder if that's actually worked for anyone.I'm excited to see though!:banana::banana:
Hmmm I have heard a lot of people ask this question and as to whether or not it would work or not. So far I do not think anyone has had it work and those who did have it work it was mostly a one time thing and didn't happen again.
Although DC's will sometimes shout you are dreaming randomly and so.....
Yeah it might work and it might not. It might work sometimes, but not everytimes if you get what I am saying it's random.
Yeah, this happened to me in my fourth lucid, my mate andy said "your dreaming aren't you" and i said "Yes i am!!" hehe, good old DC's
Nope not once. I wish my DC would though, it would extremely helpful.
One dream I had, I was with everyone from dreamviews at some convention, and one told me, "yo, bro maybe this is a dream" I was like "Aww shucks, you're full of it" and did an RC, which was a false positive, and I woke up kicking myself. I will forever listen to the DV people.
heh, I've had a bunch of DV convention dreams. Even had one last night.
But, anyway, I've had DCs hint around that I'm dreaming. Of course, I'm always too busy to listen to them.
This is exactly what happened to me in a recent DILD.
I was in a casino, where some guy playing the slots threw some drink at me and shouted, "Hey Asshole!, Your dreaming!".
One of the funnest Lucid Dreams I had ever had, because I have only had two :].
I later shot him to death because of the drink he threw at me, but he was very helpful to my Lucid Dream.
its happned to me! i was just walking along the street in a dream. when these guess came up to me and said " hey! you need to hurry and go tell the boss in that building (points to building across the street) that you are dreaming!" they sounded all urgent like it was so important and stuff. It got me lucid though!
oh and i never went to tell the boss that i was dreaming. lol he is probably mad at me :D
LOL, That's funny :) You shouldn't have shot him though, better to have given him a job as your dream guide. I unfortunately never even got the chance to talk to my DC who told me I was dreaming, because 30 seconds after my cat jumped on me and woke me up, I sure could have shot the cat.
I used to have that problem, I would have a DILD and then get bugged by some stupid DC that wouldn't leave me alone, so I would end up arguing with them over whether or not I was dreaming, and then lose it. Later I tried running away and hiding from them, without much success. Now when I want DC's to go away I just put my attention on something else and they're gone.
Would be really great though if there was a way to regularly get DC's to tell us we're dreaming, any ideas?

DC's are easy to get rid of.
1. Pull a gun from your pants.
2. Shoot them.
Worked for me.
I even had the Dream Police go after me that one dream.
It was funny because there clothing said "Dream Police" on them.
