Well we all probably know that dreams are the visual/audio/etc form of our subconcious and it takes some effort to read those images to find out what your subconcious is telling you. Recently, I found a direct and very easy way to talk to your subconcious and it goes like this:
get a piece of paper and draw a circle in the center (a fairly large one) and then draw crosshairs going vertical and horizontal (like a large 'plus' sign). Place the paper on a table or something.
Find a washer or similar object and attach it to a piece of string or thread that's a little longer than your forearm. Next, suspend the washer less than an inch over the center of the crosshairs.
WITH AS LITTLE EFFORT AS POSSIBLE begin swinging the washer up and down the vertical crosshair and say out loud 'Yes' two or three times
reset the washer to the center and begin to swing it side to side (with minimm effort) along the horizontal crosshair and say 'No' aloud a few times
reset the washer and make it go counter-clockwise around the circle and say 'I don't know'
reset the washer and make it go clockwise around the circle and say 'I don't want to tell'
You've set up the contact between yourself and your subconcious.
Now, here's the tricky part: Reset the washer and ask yourself a yes or no question. After doing so, do not think about the answer you want or what it could be. In fact, close your eyes after asking the question. After about 10 seconds, reopen them. The washer should be going in one of the directions you set it to go.
This works. I used it extensively last night and it's pretty amazing. The hard part is to not concentrate after asking the question. If you can't hold the washer strait before asking a question, rest your elbow on a solid surface or something.
PS, if/when the washer starts to swing, it's not going to be making very large passes or anything so you got to make sure that it's stable from the start.
Any comments?
