Taking something with you from an LD

I've been having lucid dreams for quite some time now, so that isn't something new to me anymore.
However, recently something happened to me that I need your opinions on. Mind you, English is not my first language, but I will do my best to explain the situation.

In one of my dreams, someone I love beyond imagination (but who is unreachable right now), sent me some sort of booklet that had text on it. I remember reading it, till the last page. On the last page there were 4 lines I believe. And I knew that I had to remember those words when I would wake up, and had to write them down somewhere, because they were important. However, when I woke up, I lost the message. I am positive it is possible to take a message with you, as I've done it before, and I know this one was extremely significant... so I hate the fact I can't remember a word...

Is there a way for me to recall that situation in my dreams, and re-read the text? Any tips anyone?

in my limited experience i would say that you can. next time you are dreaming you need to make it your mission to find this book, try to recreate it, or open a cupboard and believe it will be inside. also i think you will remember the four lines more easily a second time as it has become a bigger matter and therefor more important for your brain to remember.

Yes this is all true and you may be able to find that book again however the chances of those 4 lines being the same is unknown.
