My WILD attempt last night

failed. I think i was close though. I was very excited to begin with so my heart was beating pretty fast. As i laid, and was somewhat relaxed, i felt my body become numb. It was so wierd. I also even though my eyes were closed, in a dark dark room, i saw letters that kept flashing. it was so cool. i got excited though, and my heart began beating really fast. It then stopped. I kept trying though, but fell asleep, and i didn't have any lucid dreams =/

it was my first WILD attempt. I felt like it was a decent first try. Any tips or suggestions for making my next attempt: which will be tonight, any better? thanks =]

Yeah you did pretty good those all seem to be the experiences of a WILD including the heart beat. I don't think you need many tips looks you pretty much had it down. Although you can check that Badazz tutorial that Clarity has so graciously provided the site with.

what happens with me is my head feels like it falls asleep, it becomes numb and I am in a dark room but it gets brighter and I am able to move my head and see where I am.

your first try is by no means decent. to me thats extraordinary. I try a lot but I usually end up just falling asleep. its like I have to be in a certain mood or state to be able to go into those states before entering a lucid dream. I know when I will be able, when I close my eyes its like looking at a room in the dark. I can see outlines of things.

just trust yourself and have fun!

The closest I've gotten was feeling numbness. It felt like my arms and legs were lighter than usual. All other times, I just fell asleep though.

That sounds good for a first attempt.
I can get into SP in a matter of minutes now but then seem to get stuck there for hours, with occasional rushes but no HI or LD, not sure what I'm doing wrong.

that is exactly what happens to me , and if i tend to concentrate a little harder i lose it completely happened to me last night and the night before im just stuck .arrrrghh so annoying
