Had a VERY vivid LD last night!
I'm new to this forum as well as LD'ing so please, if you point out any good/bad points in my experience please share them.
So, just to give a little background about yesterday and the night that followed... as soon as I got home from work at about 5pm I passed out on my bed (as I was terribly exhausted). I woke up for about 2 hours and went back to sleep around 1am (may be important to note I had an earl grey tea half hour before bed, so caffeine may have played some part). Slept great until I began having a regular (non-lucid) dream. What was special about this dream was that it was very emotional (action, stress, adventure, horror, mystery). I woke up in the middle of the night (assuming so, as I did not so much as sit up let alone check the time). I subconsciously have it beat to my head to lucid dream whenever the opportunity presents itself, so almost instinctively and fully aware, I closed my eyes and began to go back into my dream world (same setting and everything).
To induce my LD, I envisioned and recognized my own body laying in bed (from a first person perspective in my mind's eye, and an interesting thing to note is that I envisioned myself wearing what I wore earlier that day) and transferred my physical and mental being into the dream.
Once I was in the dreamworld, I was back in the room from the the dream I've been having all night. I made myself run at a big window in the room, jump through the glass, and with both arms in the air superman-style, ascended. I clearly remember seeing cloudy matter speeded past my vision as I raced up higher and higher. I remember my ears (in my physical self) becoming pressurized like that feeling you get taking off in an airplane. I also remember hearing the actual cloudy matter flying past me, kind of like being in a wind tunnel. It was an insane experience...
After flying as high as I could, I would find myself either back in the room or awake, but with no problem of re-inducing the LD with pretty much the same method as before. I began to explore all my possibilities in the dream, ranging from normal conversational, to sexual. I found that anything sexual would bring me back into an awakened state a bit more quickly than other things (bummer, huh?).
Then, things got scary. :eek:
The longer I would stay in my LD, I would hear laughter. Evil laughter. I would find myself unable to move and it took all I had in me to shake myself free. I read a little bit about this phenomenon in the past, so taking advice from what I've read, I continued my LDing in a sideways position, not flat on my back (although flat on my back was a little easier to LD).
