      your other body...?

does this ever happen to anybody:

ok, i am asleep and dreaming, then i realize im dreaming and i become lucid. so then im going about having my lucid fun, but then i start to think about my real body... i always think "this feels so real, i wonder if my real body is sleepwalking right now" then im too scared to do anything in my lucid dream because i think my real body might be doing something, and im scared to shout in my dream, because i think my real body will shoud and wake up everybody in the house... but when i wake up i realize that nothing happened.

Well, you realized nothing had happened, so next time you are dreaming, remember that nothing will happen.

I once had this thought while I was... uh... going to the bathroom in a lucid dream.

Luckily, I woke up dry. But that was a close call!

The other problem with thinking along that train of thought, is you'd typically wake up if you thought too intently upon it.

This is obviously because you're thinking about your real physical properties, and it would cause your brain to go into stronger wave patterns, which during REM sleep, as we all know, are very low. If you thought too intently on it and tried to move your actualy body, your brains wave patterns would significantly change, and you'd either wake up, or atleast then be out of REM sleep.

This has happened to me, it's often why I can't remember dreams because the brain will become too vague in the mess of your brain patterns (that's a lot of cross-wiring there you all realise right? lol). The very select times I remembered having lucidity before moving my actual body, I knew that it would wake me up. After researching it a little more, I became positive.

So basically... don't think about your body. You're in a fantasy for a reason

Kind of like my dream last night... I was kind of in the Matrix. The first part had to do with me being in a room with a lot of screens and when you go close to the screen it enlarges to your whole vision. It was so cool because you could hit people and stuff. Also, I had a somewhat lucid dream but not becuase I was in a place that was some sort of Matrix and they told me that I could do anything.
