A question to those with friends who LD.

I'm pretty new around here, so I don't fully know how these Reality Checks work, but I'll ask this question anyway.


Has anyone with a friend who uses techniques to have LDs, particularly Reality Checks, tried to say or do something totally random, strange, and out-of-character to elicit from them a Reality Check technique? I could picture someone saying something weird, and the friend gives them this strange look before they grab their nose and try breathing.
