Clarity?
I've only been practicing obtaining LDing for a little while, but I can already recognize that I'm dreaming pretty often using MILD. In fact, this morning makes 5 in a row.
However, every time I "LD", I know I'm dreaming, and I have some control over them, but it always feels more like I'm watching a movie, although I can feel some things that happen in the dream, it doesn't feel too vivid at all, and it has that dream fuzziness to it.
I think I can solve this, because in every dream I have I've used forced control, (although it had some sort of lag in it, what I willed to happen came a few moments after) and I should revert to using passive control (I.E asking for pills to activate powers in stead of just doing it) instead. I've also read about looking at your palm for awhile and trying to feel things, and activating all of your senses. Also, I've heard yelling something like "Clarify times A BAZILLION!" works wonders.
The problem is applicating it. As soon as I'm in the dream something just takes over me (excitement) and I lose sense of what I wanted to do in the first place and just go..wild basically.
Could anyone help me applicate these strategies or give me other insight on how to clarify my dreams?

I used to have this exact problem. Actually, I still get bothered by it once in a while.
For most people starting out in LD's, they get extremely excited once they realize they are lucid. This often releases a shot of adrenaline, which a lot of people report feeling. I still get a very particular 'rush' when lucid.
What you need to do is practice some self-control. I like to do a hand-rubbing technique (rub hands together. Your mind will create a friction-like feeling, resulting in more dream clarity) right away.
You'll know once you're under control. Afterwards, feel free to go do whatever you would normally do.
Oh, and welcome to Dreamviews! ;)

Yeah, the rubbing hands together one works a treat.
Mental clarity is important too, try doing things like simple maths problems, it really helps for me, gets you thinking clearly and everything in the dream becoming a lot clearer.

I usually close my eyes and whisper maximum clarity.

Your first step is to try to remain calm once you realize you are dreaming. Too much attention on your excitement distracts your focus and things become less vivid and require more effort to control.
