i just picked up astral dynamics by robert bruce. kinda big but seems like a good source of information. i haven't read much however.
Patricia Garfield has a number of books out there as well as a bunch of websites. (Google search - Patricia Garfield)
I have only read "Creative Dreaming".
Pathway to esctasy and several more.
Robert Moss - Concious Dreaming = So So. in my opinion.
Sandra A. Thomas - "Cloud Nine" A dreamer dictionary. - To close to one of those 10,000 dreams interpreted books.
But each book has somthing to offer. :D
thanks guys :3
More in the catagory of astral planing an OBE's & some Lucid dreaming.
Robert A. Monnroe (Monroe Institute) - Ultimate journey
Jeromey Taylor -Book ? I forget
Half.com has a ton of used books for cheap. Then when you enter somthing in the manner off dreaming it will list a plethera of other related books that might interest you. It is a branch of E- Bay.
nice....
I picked up this one book on dreams (just before making this thread.) it was mostly crap but I did learn a few things as far as interpreting them goes. at the back of the book is a little two or three page section on Lucid Dreaming that was total crap. all it talked about was "finding a light" and some kind of spiritial...stuff. it completely failed to mention that you have freedom to do whatever you can imagine...and basically it sucked and I was really dissapointed. :
I said that when I was really upset. because I'm sick of words. they're never enough. that's part of what got me interested in semantics...I really want to know what is behind the human language...yada yada yada. :Quote:

things that you'll hear again. things that will drive you mad!\"
What would be the most mentioned topic anyhow.
Vitamin B?
What's a reality check?
Hi a newbie with some uestions![/b]
What???
I'm ........ confused?
me too.
Me too! :P :P
I meant mad as not sane. And as a joke. Hope it was not taken otherwise.
Oh ya. As far as the original subject. Good books. I heard mention of this book called,Fordistance viewing. It is suppose to be nonfiction and dabbles in the topic of the government using astral projection as a means for the military. I tried looking it up on google and it said that this sight no longer exsists ?! :hrm: Go figure. It would not suprise me to find out the government has erased its existance.
See if any of you have luck finding a book with a similar name. Distant, Distance, view, viewing????? I don't know.
Maybe they will delete my existance :|
Consider the wikibook. Try before you buy - actually, it's all there, and you can't buy it. :)
*posts*
just for future reference
Patricia Garfield's "Creative Dreaming" is interesting.. mainly the sections on perspectives of dreaming by different cultures. It's a good read, but doesn't have much on lucid dreaming.Quote:

For Moss, I like the book but think he jumps from topic to topic without really focusing enough on any one section.
I'm surprised that no-one has mentioned Stephen Laberge's "Lucid Dreaming". Dr. Laberge was the first person to prove in laboratories that Lucid Dreams do exist and coined the word "oneironaught". A Classic book that I'm sure most of you know about, but I thought I'd mention it.
What are good online places to buy books, as i havn;t seen any in Australia.
It's safe to buy from Amazon yes?
Anyone know another website to compare prices?
I buy books on Amazon, they have good prices (it's safe, it's one of the biggest places to shop the net)
Right now I'm reading "Book of Dreams" by Sylvia Browne. It's really interesting, but a lot of it is about astral travel... farfetched for me but I like to keep an open mind.
