Question : Feedback Would Be Apprecitated

Okay, for the longest time now, as I'm falling asleep I feel as if my bed is shaking. At first I thought it was the wind but it happens even on dead calm nights. I've asked my family and no one else experiences this. Now it's really starting to mystify me. Is this some personal weird form of sleep paralysis or and am I just crazy?

      LD Counter (as of 07.25.07) = 5 (2 WILDs)
Short-term goal: Recall three full dreams a night for a full week.
Long-term goal: Have three LDs per week for one month.
Longer-term goal: Have one six-hour LD every night! (Shooting too high? We'll see.)
Waking life goal: Round up some NPSG equipment to study my own sleep patterns.

      vibrations?

it might be the beginning of an OBE/Astral Projection.

Yeah it could be an alien abduction too.

Why is it everytime something odd happens while trying to LD and someone posts about it, people who generally don't know anything about OBEs assume that it's something OBE related? Maybe that's why there are so many skeptics

Dream to escape, I assume that Silver is correct. Hypnagogia is a very odd state of mind to be in, and it's amazing. Sometimes I hear music...literally hearing music as if it's actually being played when I'm in a trance, or falling asleep or trying to WILD. Sometimes I feel like someone has their hand on my face, or I feel like it's windy. Sometimes I hear people's voices, or laughter, or traffic, even though in reality it's silent. And I mistake these occurances for reality, when they are all in my head. I suspect that this is also true of you.

I would think it is Body Vibrations or Vertigo.

I used to love that vibrating feeling when I was a kid. I'd lay myself down to sleep and when I start feeling those sensations I'd image my bed was flying over all sorts of beautiful and strange landscapes

I don't get it as often as I used to anymore, probably because I've grown so accustomed to it.

Its normal though, many people report it. Personally I don't think its hypnagogic... rather, I think its a bodily reaction, the body is preparing for the onset of sleep, and you feel it. For me, it always passed after half a minute or so.

      Just my 2 sleepycents
