Which techniques are you using? If you're only doing one (other than RC), change it around!
And for beginners, 1 a month isn't so bad. That's how many I have now, but they're getting better!
EDIT: I see you're looking at this thread... click Refresh...wait a minute if you see this you've already done that
I had a 3 month dryspell and getting angry about it is only going to lengthen the period the dryspell lasts for, if your finding your not having much luck when trying, then take a break for a week, it normally works things out. Hope it ends soon buddy! :)
Ive not had a LD in about 3 months now , and im not pi**ed off lol
Going on two here. You would think summer boredom would be conducive to LDing. . .
thats weird as hell av just come off my dry spell of a about a week... But the weird thing is its like everyone is having a dryspell at the moment, well people i no are anyway
Several tips that work for me:
1. Don't try too hard
2. Don't stress over it
3. Make sure it remains fun
4. Make sure it doesn't become a chore!
5. Don't go into competition with yourself ("I've a four lucid dreams last week and only one this week, I have to do better!")
6. Accept that there's going to be periods in your life when you won't be lucid dreaming much. Moments of real life stress, change in sleep rythme, change in lifestyle, can all have serious impacts on your dreaming state.
7. Sometimes, the best thing to do is to let go for a couple of days, and things usually start by themselves again then.

It takes a long time to start becoming anything close to regular at lucid dreaming. Until you've had a few more of them, expect them to be somewhat sporadic. But don't give up... eventually you will be able to do it more regularly.
It was probably six months between my first and my second, though I didn't know much about DSs or RCs at the time, and didn't keep a journal. I don't think I had more than five total in the first two years!
Now I'm typically getting two to three per week, partly due to my visiting these boards every day, keeping a journal, and doing my RCs often.
I haven't had one in like three weeks and I used to have them all the time, just stress from work I guess. There are lots of reasons for dry spells.
