New *WILD* Technique..and my experience! (A must read!!)
I have just started getting into lucid dreaming, after having one before and not knowing what it was... Now, I started 4 days ago, tonight will be my 5th night... The first night, i tried a normal, just trying to do a rc in a dream, which didn't work, and I got my head chopped off y leather face.. anyways.. The second night, i decided to try one of them WILDS.. I read the tutorials, and i followed them exactly to the T, that night i did having a crazy experience, and had my first body asleep mind awake..
I went through the stage where, your body starts to shake rapidly, and you hear sounds, then boom you enter the state, that happened with me..but what didn't happen, was I could never just *enter* a dream (read about it here) http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4498 thatll explain what was going on with me, on my first WILD, which happened to me on my second WILD, but this time i used another technique. The third night, again i tried to just do a RC in a dream, nothing...
I did have a crazy dream though about killing my best friend, but he never really died, anyways... The fourth night, I decided, hey this IS my night.. I am going to do this, this is my time to shine.... So i went to bed around 11:20, i woke myself up at around, 4:26... I got up, and read the WILD tutorial for 15 min, to make sure i was up and my mind was active.. I then went to try the WILD...
The same thing happened to me as exactly did the first time, but this time, i tried something different... After i got to the paralises, i laid there for about, 17min.. I then thought, *i can't stay in this for another 2 hours, im not going to..* So i told myself to start to lucid dreaming after I let my mind fall off to sleep.. Thats what i did, I didn't let my mind, just BOOM off to sleep, i started to think about driving a car, and i slowly just got tired, and i slowly went out...
Then at about, 15-20 min later... I wake up, and im pissed at myself because i didnt think i did enough to make the WILD work, like the tutorial said it would.. I flip on the TV HBO.. And theres a metallica concert on.. Awsome, this will get my mind off of it, so i laid there, decided to do a RC, blah i just did it real fast, *no duh im not dreaming*, then the concert starts, lead singer of metallica starts to sing, it sounded so crisp and clear, like i was there, then it seemed like i moved up to the screen more, and i was there, i can hear him singing this song, it was awsome...
Sooo after about 2 min. into the song, i decided to get up, i was still pissed about the whole WILD thing, i take my covers, and simaltaniously, (if you havnt notice i was ld in the dream the whole time!!) i wake up in REAL REALITY doing the motion as i was in the dream, getting up out of bed taking my covers off.. And i had the radio on, and the same song the lead singer of metallica was singing was same song that was on radio at that time!! I then realized.. I was just FOOLED, i thought my dream was reality, and since i did the pissy RC, i didnt catch it was a dream, but i was concious the whole time, i was there in it..
There was some other fine details in the dream, like i saw the lead drummer in some bondage outfit with some leather belts making this beautiful sound that went great with the song...
So, if you cant get the WILDS to work like the tutorials say, just dry to let your mind drift asleep after paralises, in my case, my mind was still awake, but sleeping, and i went right into the dream concious... Everything felt real!! It was great, if anyone wants some more information on this just pm me, or add me to aim or msn.. Oh yah, i also took 3mg of melatonin, and 50mg of b6 35 min before i went to bed..
