i don't have any really. but id like to try making it happen in a lucid. |
It wasn't a lucid dream, but I clearly remember having the song Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam playing in the background of last night's dream. I didn't realize dreams had soundtracks. What songs have played in your dreams? |

Oddly enough, Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" seems to play whenever I fly in a dream. |
Whatever CD I happen to be listening to while falling asleep is usually what is playing the background. |
Mostly love songs. i wake up with the most random songs in my head. like "Livin our love song" by Jason Michael Carol, or something. |
I wake up with random songs in my dreams all the time, but they never are playing DURING my dreams. Though that's not a bad idea... |
"Of course it is all happening inside your head...but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?"
~Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
I woke up singing the song 'Peaches' by the Presidents of the United States of America...I was singing it in my dream and woke myself up, to find that I was indeed actually singing it. Not well, mind you, but I was singing it. |

The middle section of progressive rock epic "Yes - Awaken" after I died in a dream. (I have a thread on that bizarre dream) |

Well, it wasn't the entire song, but one of my first WILD experienes, I used the song "Happy Datys", accompanied by the spinning record image, to reset my dream when I didn't like the way it was going. Don't know if that helps. |
The song most recently being played in my dreams has been |
" Listen up! Usually the good Lord works in mysterious ways. But not today! This here is sixty-six tons of straight up, H-E-spewing dee-vine intervention! If God is love, then you can call me Cupid!"
—Avery J. Johnson
A while ago the alarm on my phone was some song by The Shins, but that wasn't what I heard in my dream. When the alarm goes off, it starts out soft and gets louder and louder. |

How I discover what my dreams are about
In my last lucid dream I made pink sparks between my palms. I was trying to make a white ball of energy...
the music from CS_italy terrorist base. lol any1 noe wad its called? ^^ and yea it's loud. |
It's quite rare for me to have music playing in my regular dreams, though I like to get some going when I'm lucid. It tends to be orchestrial and 'fitd' with the events of the dream. |
I tend to listen to alot of non-vocal music so I get lots playing in my dreams. |
I write music, and often if I've been working on a piece for a long time, it starts to really haunt me in my dreams. I've had a couple of occasions where it becomes a soundtrack for the entire night through multiple dreams! |

It's funny for me, I listen to lots of music, but it rarely shows up in my dreams... I rarely ever find a radio or stereo in my dreams, though last night, a song that started with "cerra" I think it said cerrapece [exactly like that] played on a song list. I didn't bother to check out the other songs though... I do get a lot of background music in game-style dreams. |
This thread reminded me of a long-forgotten dream of a tree that made delicate chimimg sounds when the wind blew through its leaves. |
last night actually i had "honor 2003" by vnv nation playing in my dream probly because i was behind a wall holding off against a massive army.... |
Before last night i hadn't had a dream where a song is in the background and when u wake up it is still playing. But i read this post yesterday and then that night i had one. |
Haha that'd be awesome. One of the great trombone parts (especially the bass). |
