Dreaming about yourself

I don't like to analyze my dreams as they more for my own entertainment however I had a dream that I passed myself on the street and turned around and watched myself walking away and tried desperately to catch up to me to introduce myself and I thought I would like to actually meet "me" but I couldn't get around all the obstacles to catch up. In the dream it seemed like a once in a lifetime opportunity that slipped away.

Any ideas about what this means or symbolizes? Dream analysis isn't usually important to me so I am at a loss.

Hmm.... that's bizzare. I don't think that's ever happened to me.

Maybe it symbolizes a search to discover the true you. You may be searching for your identity, but you feel that even though it's in you (close), it keeps slipping through your fingers. Or you may want to know how you are viewed by other people (meeting yourself would let you see yourself from the outside).

Those are off the top of my head, hope it inspires some thoughts :sheepishgrin:
