In the lucid dream world or the real world?
I pick lucid dream world. :dreaming:
I have thought about this lots of times because when I wake up I am so disappointed that my dreaming is over for the night and I have to get back to the real world. I wouldnt give up my real world for a dream world but I would like to spend a lot more time dreaming than I do. (as someone who gets about 8 hours sleep a night and more at weekends that would actually be a lot of dreaming lol)
I'm not religious so dont believe in heaven etc and my hopes of death are that you spend all eternity just dreaming and dreaming and dreaming :)
Why seperate the two?
I agree that I would not want to give up my real world (mainly my family and my wife) but I think I would rather spend more time in the lucid world than in the real world. There's no school and work in the lucid world :)
I'm really hoping that after death non-existence is like being stuck in a permanent lucid dream.
Probably not, but I can hope.
I pick lucid dreaming over reality because, if you want to go back to reality you can just use your lucid powers to make it so. lucid dreaming is the best because you can switch between the two states.
One thing that lucid dreaming has taught me is just how much control I have over my mind. You have just as much control of your perception in waking life as you do in a lucid dream. Your real life can be just as great as your lucid dreams! You can't fly though ;)
you wouldn't appreciate the dreamworld without the confines of reality to wake into.
My sleeping nights in the lucid world, every...single...night, hands down. and when awake...in the real world. We are evolutionarily designed to interact with other human beings...I think people who want to be in the lucid world so as to spend as little time in the physical world are only afraid because of their lack of control in the phys. realm. But on the contrary, they have as much control in the physical as in the lucid...the only difference is that in the phys. there is a buffer of time.
