Remembering messages while lucid

The idea behind subliminal messages, is that your subconscious picks up, and deciphers messages that your conscious doesn't. Then logically, it would work the way if you saw a message briefly out of the corner of your eye, or missed what someone said, because you weren't focusing your attention on him/her. My question is, do you think it would be possible to find out a message that you missed in waking life by asking dream characters (or dream guide) about it while lucid, since they are controlled by your subconscious?

I think it is very possible you could, under hypnosis people have shown that there recall is a lot better than normal.

Also under hypnosis, people have been known to make up details on the spot, or recall things that weren't there/didn't happen. Don't overestimate memory...

But as far as the topic goes, yes, to a degree I'd expect some extraneous information recall. I'd doubt the accuracy of it, of course, and seek verification in waking life.

You are correct, I didn't think that one all the way through. In dreams you will see a flying car and think, "That's always been that way." So I guess accuracy would be a big factor.

I think its possible in theory, but you'll have to master your dreams and your memories like a lot. And even then this wouldnt work every time. But it sounds usefull, i should try remember something. :D

and he got the desired effect
