Inspiration (or more) from dreams?

I've wondered whether you can actually become creative when you're lucid, as in, write songs, draw pictures or anything, and remember them when you wake up. Like, can your subconscious make you draw a picture? Because... wouldn't such a picture be the true essence of yourself? I mean, wouldn't it be quite awesome? Or, let's say, you have a sheet of paper and your subconscious makes you write notes on it, or better, you tell your dream-self to do it. I guess the hard thing would be to remember all of it, if it works at all. I haven't become lucid yet so I wouldn't know. I just mean, it would be awesome to have a composition (or just a tune, a little theme) created by your subconscious real you. So... do you think it may be possible? Experiences? Doubts?

I have tried on several lucid occassions. I once had a dream in which I was at a concert and I wondered to the back of the stage. I remember finding a stack of sheet music and being amazed by its exsistence. Since then I have tried hard to find "readable" music and remember it when I wake up. I haven't had success yet but I know it can be done so I'll keep trying. If you play an instrument try playing it in a dream. I have made some very interesting sounds with my bass guitar in dreams before. give it a try and see what you can do. i'd be intrested to find out the results of your efforts.
