Tried my first WILD last night.

I tried my first WILD last night - didn't go well. I woke up 5 and a half hours after I went to sleep. I then stayed up for 45 mins and I had some Coke and a chocolate bar in this time. When I went back to bed that night I didn't get any streaks of colour or flashes. It took me a good while to get to sleep - when I got asleep it didn't seem to be any different. I didn't have a LD I don't think but I did have another dream. Here it is:

I remember going to steal a car from a garage. I had someone else with me, I don't know who he was. He was tall and had old clothes on him - like a traveller or something. Anyway, we were looking for a way in and couldn't find one so I slid through the glass. It was an absouloutly amazing feeling. Anyway, next thing is we are looking for the keys to the car I want. There is a desk and the keys are on the wall behind it in a silver metal box. We open it and get the keys out. I get a nice blue Seat Ibiza 8) . Yeah but it looks sweet.... Anyway, the keycode for the door was in the silver box. It was 66666. The Seat Ibiza was the only car there so I had to take it. That is all I remember really. Thanks for reading that post!

No I haven't. That was probably as close as I got. I think I might have been Lucid but without control.

Aw . Ok, thanks CT and dj0s. Have you any tips on how to successfully preform WILD's? All comments welcome, have been reading up on Lucid Dreaming for a couple of weeks now with no success. My dream recall is a lot better though. I am just wondering, how can keeping a dream journal help having LD's? Or is it just for remembering dreams in case you have a LD? Thx.

Recognizing dreamsigns, generall awareness and knowledge of your dreams and how they work, so you can better realise and recognize dreams and reality.

Is it possible to WILD after becoming fully awake?
I have tried, and I just don't see how it is possible.

What I did when I tried was, I woke up and I was still very tired but conscious, so I tried WILDing right away and saw all the white flashes and went into a dream while still conscious.
